We are very excited about our growth opportunities and are seeking an individual with an entrepreneurial energy and commitment to client service to join our internal Finance team! We are open to this Internal Accounting Manager - Tax position being in any of our office locations: Cleveland, Akron, or Youngstown, OH.

Responsibilities

  • Be the main point of contact for "all things tax" within our Internal Accounting department 
  • Record monthly Tax Trial Balances by entity
    • Equity tracking, basis tracking
    • Ensure M&A activity is recorded correctly for tax
    • Tax to GAAP adjustments
  • Assist and project manage all tax filings
    • Federal
    • SALT, including transfer of workers compensation rates to new entities
    • Tax credits
    • Personal Property
    • By state allocations
  • General cleaning of accounts & reconciling
  • Help with M&A Analysis as we continue to grow
  • Assist with forecasting taxable income & allocations by owner

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree required
  • 4+ years of applicable experience
  • Highly detail oriented
  • Proficient in Outlook and Word, advanced user of Excel
  • Reliable and ability to work independently to manage tasks, projects, and deadlines
  • Effective and professional communication skills
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
  • Experience with a service based business preferred
